Ireland-based Glanua has reinforced its position in the U.K. anaerobic digestion and biogas market through its recent acquisition of Marches Biogas, a U.K.-based engineering and services firm specializing in AD technology. While the deal strengthens Glanua’s ability to deliver turnkey water and wastewater solutions, it also highlights the increasing convergence between wastewater treatment and renewable energy, specifically biogas.
By integrating Marches Biogas’s expertise, Glanua gains a stronger foothold in the AD sector while expanding its workforce to include 27 U.K.-based employees and adding £6.00 million (€7.23 million) in revenue to the group.
