On 1 May 2025, Pasadena, California-based Tetra Tech announced the acquisition of SAGE Group Holdings, an automation solutions consultancy in Tonsley, Australia. Upon the deal’s closing, Tetra Tech’s Commercial/International Group (CIG) will absorb SAGE’s core service offerings—which include manufacturing automation, smart infrastructure, and systems integration for municipal and industrial applications—along with its 800 employees.

In 2024, Tetra Tech reported total revenues of US$5.2 billion, reflecting a 15% year-over-year (YoY) increase from FY 2023. As of 2025, Tetra Tech has secured roughly US$1.5 billion from a new credit facility, supporting the company’s acquisition financing through 2030.

The addition of SAGE Group extends Tetra Tech’s integration capabilities for legacy digital solutions, providing a wedge to further penetrate the hypercompetitive Australian market.
