On 2 July 2025, software services provider Volue announced the divestment of its Infrastructure business to private equity fund FSN Capital VI. Upon the deal’s closing—set for Quarter four 2025—the Oslo, Norway-based private equity firm will subsume Volue’s suite of commercial software tools for water, roads, and municipal infrastructure management.

Based in Trondheim, Norway, Volue Infrastructure employs 100 associates. Supporting both office and field operations, the division’s Gemini suite offers solutions applicable to water and wastewater asset management, including Portal+ for asset management, Water Alert for leakage detection, Communicator for public reporting, Private for document digitization, and Hydraulics for hydraulic model maintenance.

Launched in 2020, FSN Capital VI manages €1.8 billion in capital, targeting middle-market companies with pre-acquisition sales averaging approximately €115.0 million. The acquisition of Volue Infrastructure stands to provide a range of digital solutions for small- and mid-sized municipal systems in Northern Europe.
