Saur Deal Channels EQT Digital Water Strategy

Stockholm, Sweden- based private equity firm EQT Partners closed the acquisition of Saur Group, a French water and wastewater utility service provider. The deal is valued at €1.5 billion (US$1.8 billion).

Founded in 1933, Saur has grown into the third largest water and wastewater utility service provider in France, measured by revenues, behind Veolia and Suez. The EQT-led bid was joined by French private equity firm.
