On 25 November 2025, Veralto announced the acquisition of In-Situ, a Colorado-based water monitoring company, for US$435 million. In-Situ is expected to generate US$80 million in revenue in 2025, and Veralto projects approximately US$11 million in synergies over the first three years.

In-Situ’s core business has traditionally centered on groundwater monitoring devices, but the company has broadened its portfolio through three acquisitions since 2017. Its offerings now span surface and coastal water monitoring, industrial water quality monitoring, and equipment rentals. Beyond its U.S. headquarters, In-Situ maintains operations in the U.K., the Middle East, Asia, and Australia.

The acquisition strengthens Veralto’s Water Quality segment by complementing existing surface-water and treatment-plant monitoring capabilities from the Hach and OTT HydroMet brands. It also positions Veralto to more fully leverage Aquatic Informatics—its water data management platform—to expand In-Situ’s digital capabilities and integrate its solutions across the broader product suite.
