Corporate Water Innovation Spotlight: Veralto Commits to Emerald Technology Fund

On 22 July 2025, Veralto Corporation announced a €20 million commitment to Emerald Technology Ventures’ Global Water Fund II, positioning the company as a lead investor in the €150–€180 million fund scheduled to launch later this year.

Emerald Technology Ventures, based in Zurich, manages over €1.2 billion in assets and focuses on sustainable industrial transformation across energy, water, and related sectors. The firm has operated since 2000.

Veralto, which was spun out of Danaher in 2023, has two primary business units: Water Quality and Product Quality & Innovation. Its water quality unit provides water analysis and treatment technologies under brands, such as Hach, Trojan Technologies, and ChemTreat. For year-end 2024, Veralto reported US$5.2 billion in sales, with its water quality segment accounting for 60% of the total, growing 3.2% year-over- year. North America represents roughly 47% of company sales, followed by Western Europe and “High-Growth Markets”.
