Lauren Balsamo


Lauren Balsamo is an analyst dedicated to the municipal water sector. Her areas of expertise include water infrastructure, water quality and policy analysis. Her research has included deep dives into the PFAS market landscape, CAPEX projections, and pipe network opportunities.

Prior to joining Bluefield, Lauren worked with Northeastern University’s Social Science Environmental Health Research Institute PFAS Project Lab, maintaining the PFAS Contamination Site Tracker and impacts on U.S. water systems. She also worked for MIT Environmental Solutions Initiative (ESI) on a range of projects that included the plastic industry analysis to support the launch of ESI’s Plastics & the Environment Program. Lauren received a Bachelor of Arts in Environmental Studies from Northeastern University in Boston, Massachusetts.
