Unitil Carves Out Water Presence via Aquarion Platform 

On 6 May 2025, Unitil Corporation announced an agreement to purchase the New Hampshire and the Massachusetts Aquarion Water Company operations from the Aquarion Water Authority for US$100 million. Under the terms of this deal, Unitil will gain 23,000 new customers and assume responsibility for 331 miles of water distribution mains.
