Badger Meter Moves Upstream with s::can

On 3 November 2020, Badger Meter, a U.S.-based provider of water utility metering solutions, announced its acquisition of s::can GmbH for €27.0 million (US$31.7 million) in an all-cash deal.

The s::can acquisition represents a new strategic direction for Badger by expanding the firm’s capabilities into distribution network management, beyond its core position in metering & customer management.
