Lauren Balsamo
Research Associate

Lauren Balsamo is a Research Associate in Bluefield’s Boston office, where she is leveraging her experience with water quality monitoring and PFAS contamination. Prior to joining Bluefield, Lauren worked with Northeastern University’s Social Science Environmental Health Research Institute PFAS Project Lab, maintaining the PFAS Contamination Site Tracker and impacts on U.S. water systems. She also worked for MIT Environmental Solutions Initiative (ESI) on a range of projects that included the plastic industry analysis to support the launch of ESI’s Plastics & the Environment Program.

Lauren received a Bachelor of Arts in Environmental Studies from Northeastern University, in Boston, Massachusetts.
