Bluefield on Tap: Fertilizer and Water Quality with Mark Slavens

It’s Spring time and that means it’s time to fertilize your lawn. Mark Slavens of Scotts Miracle-Gro joins The Water Values Podcast to discuss how fertilizer affects water quality. Mark shares a tremendous amount of knowledge on fertilizers and tips to ensure that you aren’t contributing to water quality problems when fertilizing your lawn, as well as some practical advice on watering your lawn (hint: you probably don’t need to water your lawn as much as you do). Plus, Mark has a big announcement on a new partnership between Scotts Miracle-Gro and the Everglades Foundation that promotes water quality. Reese Tisdale of Bluefield Research returns for another Bluefield on Tap segment where he discusses a number of recently closed water deals, including Suez’s acquisition of GE Water and EQT’s acquisition of Innovyze. This is a great opportunity to catch up on what’s been happening in the water M&A space.
