U.S. & Canada Municipal Water: Key Trends, Deals, and Policy Activity in Water Management, Q2 2023 
According to the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency’s recent 7th Drinking Water Needs Survey and Assessment, there are currently an estimated 9.1 million lead service lines (LSLs) across the country, with Florida estimated to have the greatest number of LSLs at 1.1 million. Through the Infrastructure Investment and Jobs Act, US$15 billion in funding will be available over the 2022–2025 period to address LSL replacement.
