Inflation Reduction Act to Alter Industrial Water Demands 
On 6 August 2022, the United States Senate cleared a major legislative hurdle with its passage of the Inflation Reduction Act of 2022 (IRA). The US$750 billion bill is expected to proceed with likely House of Representatives and Presidential approvals in the coming weeks, thereby setting in motion the largest ever allocation of federal incentives toward climate change.
