Water Industry Analyst, U.S. & Canada Municipal Water

Summary: The Analyst plays a key role in spearheading data-driven products and insights to Bluefield’s wide array of clients – from Big Tech and engineering services firms to hardware vendors and financial services firms. This position calls for a combination of industry insights and data analytics capabilities to develop real-time water market intelligence.

This is a great opportunity to leverage one’s core data and analytical skills through client-facing, commercial interactions with companies addressing the challenges facing the U.S. & Canada municipal water sector.

Become a thought leader in water

  • Build and manage project databases, market forecasts, and project databases with data management tools.
  • Lead a steady flow of deliverables to clients, including written reports, presentations, forecast models, and client workshops.
  • Initiate, write, and produce regular executive briefings, PowerPoint presentations and market forecasts, while becoming an expert in this growing field.
  • Analyze the water industry trends impacting market development- regulations, project announcements, technology adoption, and macroeconomic influences.

  • 1-5 years relevant experience, within the water, energy, infrastructure, or market research fields, preferred.
  • Data management languages (i.e., R, Python, MySQL) interest and experience.
  • Proficiency with MS applications required (Excel, Word and PowerPoint); experience with databases helpful.
  • Experience with Tableau, Qlik, Sisense…etc. preferred
  • A keen attention to detail and highly effective organization skills including the ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines simultaneously in a fast-paced environment.

Client Success Manager

Summary: The Client Success Manager’s primary responsibility is to support Bluefield’s existing customers through ongoing support throughout the sales cycle. A critical component to the manager’s own success will be demonstrating an ability to create positive experiences, solve client issues, and identify paths to generate new revenue.

Bluefield is seeking an aspiring leader wanting to research, analyze and guide industry decisions based on the emerging trends that will shape tomorrow’s opportunities in water. Marketing Content Coordinator

Summary: The Marketing Content Coordinator plays a key role in all marketing initiatives and in helping to achieve company goals. This is an excellent opportunity for candidates seeking to gain experience across a variety of marketing channels, at a small, growing company, while gaining awareness of global water issues.

Bluefield Research is seeking an individual, for immediate hire, to provide ongoing support to the marketing and content team at Bluefield. This person will be responsible for key content marketing functions including email marketing campaigns, website management, social media outreach, lead development, client support and conference planning. The successful candidate will have at least two years of experience with a demonstrated ability to juggle multiple priorities, strong communication skills, and attention to detail. Bluefield’s collaborating and entrepreneurial environment is an excellent opportunity to develop one’s marketing skills in a growing business.

The ideal candidate enjoys tracking performance analytics and working across various marketing channels.


-Content Development and Email Marketing: Assist in the development of content for email marketing of reports and data, client communications, weekly newsletters, and drip campaigns.

Website Content Management: Support the team in posting research deliverables, podcasts, blogs and other content to the website. Monitor website content for updates, featured content, and SEO. 

-Analytics and Feedback: Regular analysis of marketing channels and campaigns for RIO/overall performance. Monitoring web analytics analyze website traffic and report key metrics. 

-Social Media and Video Support: Support marketing team with social media posts on LinkedIn and Twitter tied to research and news items. Help produce explainer videos for marketing campaigns and website highlighting takeaways from research.

-Sales and Client Support: Help maintain database of water industry contacts and identify new contacts for business development. Assist in managing calendar of water events and speaking opportunities. Support sales team with client usage and access on the website as needed.
