Stormwater Overflow

The EPA estimates US$28.9 billion of infrastructure investment is needed to mitigate stormwater overflows.
States are struggling with combined sewer overflow due to aging infrastructure and long-term population growth that has exceed the rate of sewer system expansion. Stemming from increasing patterns of large weather events, combined sewer overflows result in nearly 850 billion gallons of untreated waste and storm water annually.
